General data

Furniture fabrics process wood products and produce goods. Furniture fabric can also process wood products and glass and produce goods. Furniture fabrics can be build by player. Building cost is 144 000 000 £. Furniture fabrics should be build on flat land near towns (Rz0 > Ed > Rz1). They can't be build in desert areas (at least 3 squares away), near other furniture fabrics, sawmills and glass works. Furniture fabrics have 1 possible layout.

Furniture fabrics have the production, represented in the table (production data is calculated for 8 cycles a month. During game play, there are 8 or 9 cycles, while the total amount of distributed cargo is adjusted with property for minimal amount of cargo distributed). Furniture fabrics are the only industries in the vector who increases the efficiency of processing materials while increasing production level. Other industries have the fixed efficiency factor.

About 16 units of goods are produced in addition from internal resources of the industry on the lowest production level.

Industry processes wood products and glass or only wood products. The industry can't process only glass.

Production change

Decreasing production level is calculated by comparing the amount of cargo produced with the value, represented in the table. Increasing production level is calculated by comparing the amount of cargo waiting with the value, represented in the table.

The industry can rise and drop production level only by one. Increasing production on any production level also requires at least 50% of goods being transported.

When industry has a very low production level and did not produce enough cargo last month, it tests close down conditions. Industries in service have a close down chance reduced by 50%. Newly build industries can be closed only if they are at least 2 year old. Industries, build by random map generator or map editor, can be closed only if they are at least 5 year old age. A close down chance is 3%, 8% chance for increasing production.

Stockpile size

The cargo acceptance is limited by a storage size. If the store is overflowed, the industry stops to accept cargo unless the storage is three fourth-free. Than the industry starts to accept cargo again.
