Bridges or tunnels are built the same ways as for normal roads, however to make them accessible for trams, you need to connect tram tracks to their entrances. This is the case whether they were built with the tram toolbar or the regular toolbar.

Description

This switch enables the construction of tram tracks as a second road construction option. To build tram tracks, click and hold the road construction menu item, then select "Tram construction". Note that you need to load the appropriate graphics file to see the tracks. Also, TTD/TTDPatch have no tram vehicles by default, so you need to load at least one graphics set that contains trams in order to use this feature.
