The FAQ is, as its name says, about Frequently Asked Questions. Your question may simply not be frequent enough to appear here. (And no, you asking it 50 times won't make it frequent.) If you need help and can't find the answer here, you have many options, listed at the Help page in the manual.

Too many people simply asked their own questions and waited for an answer, instead of submitting genuine FAQs. They would have waited forever for an answer, so it was better to disable the previous FAQ submission mechanism, so that people know how it's supposed to work.
