Notes

Travel around York

Buses are all fairly constant and getting from the station to the NRM is piss easy.

Overnight in York

The following people will be staying in York over the weekend:

  • Andel (Friday only)
  • XeryusTC
  • JVassie
  • JamieLei (until Monday morning)
  • Jonty (with parents, Friday night only)

Cameras

If you're bringing a digital camera, or a video camera, please let us know here. At least one camera per group will be required for the game. In addition, Owen would appreciate any video of your journey, your time at the meet, or your group's part of the game, for the Meet 2009 video.

  • orudge - Bringing DSLR and DV camera
  • andel - Bringing a Digital Camera that does basic video
  • Born Acorn - A DSLR and DV camera.
  • XeryusTC - DV camera.
  • Quaver - Bringing kit (DSLR, 35mm SLR & TLR)
  • Griff - Digital Camera (which does video as well)
  • beeb375 - Phone camera probably, maybe a 7ish MP digital too
  • Michael Sammels - Vivitar camera, 8MP
  • Brianetta - 4MP with an outstanding lens (video capable) and tripod
  • Jonty - Hopefully I'll have a new camera by then, yay
  • Mark Jones - 5MP Nokia n95, 3MP Fujifilm s2000 (very old), tripod, card reader (and cable), laptop, oh, and usb modem.

Activities

Andel will be running a little game that will require teams to have a camera, a pen and an ounce of common sense. Actually, just the first two will do as the third is not likely. The prize is a 00 Guage class 153 with the number 311, as renumbered by Andel.

The "WAGs"

Confirmed wives and girlfriends attending so far are:

  • Helen Ronald (who hates being called a WAG)
  • Natalie Merrick (is not aware she is a WAG, and probably won't understand.)
  • Danni Matzk (Who also hates being called a WAG)
